English worksheet with a dialogue
Each English worksheet of our English lesson plans has a dialogue suggestion with hints and instructions for your student to read and follow. However, we do not really provide a lot of information leaving it up to students to choose means of expression and the vocabulary that they would like to use. The only requirement is to speak rather than play it silent. A dialogue is a good way of evaluating students’ oral speech, response time, grammar, fluency and what not.
While students get a chance to practice speaking in a simulated real-life situation, the teacher collects feedback on their performance. Through the use of dialogues, the trouble spots become quite evident be it grammar, vocabulary or both. If the teacher sees that some areas have not been sufficiently drilled, he or she may want to refer the students to one of the previous exercises with the emphasis on those skills which are still poorly presented.
